Psalm 145

The LORD is gracious
and compassionate,
slow to anger and great in faithful love.

Lord, God almighty. I join with David in praising you, blessing you for who you are, what you are.

Gracious. Bestowing the riches of your blessings on us. We don’t deserve any speck of your grace, yet you cover us lavishly with your wondrous grace.

Compassionate. Full of love for us, the unlovable, because your heart for us is full of a love we can’t fully understand. We only receive it and are overwhelmed by it.

Slow to anger. Thank you for being patient with me. It is a clear sign of your mercy, grace, that allows me one breath more.

Great in faithful love. Lord, you are faithful love. To God be glory. You righteous in all your ways, may you be blessed and Lord, may I serve you today.
